Some things about our Swedish summer house

One hour drive from Varberg, one and a half hours from Gothenburg and about two hours from Helsingborg, near the famous ski center Isaberg in Småland, is the small dreamy village Kappeled with 5 houses. Our cottage is located on the outskirts.

It was built of solid Finnish wood and has an exciting history behind it. We will limit ourselves here only to some of it. The house has a living area of 102 m² and was renovated in 2004 with a very special and pleasant atmosphere.

There are plenty of sleeping places, distributed in a total of 4 bedrooms for max 8 people (3 rooms with double bed (1x1,60, 2x1,40 cm) and 1 room with bunk beds (80 cm))

The living room has cozy and comfortable furniture, a fireplace stove, TV & DVD, stereo with CD and radio, internet access, Nintendo Wii.

The kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator and freezer, dishwasher, microwave, electric stove with oven and grill and a dining table for max 8 people.

The bathroom with shower, toilet, hand basin and a beautiful Finnish sauna.

Outside the house is directly the forest and the large garden overlooking meadows and pastures of cows and sheep. There is a nice terrace with garden furniture, barbecue area, Viking stove at the fireplace, barbecue grill, garden grill, kettle grill, outdoor activities such as pole tennis, bocce, balls and others.

Shopping facilities

Several supermarkets and stores - everything you need in Smålandsstenar (5 min. by car.) and in the larger town of Gislaved (10 min. by car)
